Message from the President:

Hello and welcome to the UNL Microbiology Club! As your president, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to continue building on past students' efforts with this club. As an organization, we strive to create a welcoming support system to connect UNL students interested in microbiology and any of the life sciences as a whole. We usually meet every other week, with meeting activities such as graduate student panels, fun socials, lab tours, agar art, and guest speakers. You can keep up to date with any events via our club GroupMe or Instagram page (@unlmicrobio)! We understand that school can get very busy and stressful, so there is no pressure to attend meetings if you need to put schoolwork first. We only aim to offer an extracurricular space to relax and build connections. Our members also come from a host of different academic paths with diverse interests across the board, including but not limited to pre-health, pre-research, and pre-dental to name a few. As such, we are also always open to suggestions on how to provide club members with the best experience possible! Feel free to reach out to our officer team with any thoughts or questions, and we hope to see you at a meeting! -- Macey Moore, 26-27 President
