Message from the President:

Hello everyone!!! I am so excited to be stepping in as president of the Microbiology Club this year. The Microbiology club aims to enrich and excite students about the microbiology field. One of the main ways we achieve this goal is through our bi-weekly meetings that can include anything between researchers talking about their work to our annual agar art event where we make amazing artwork with various bacteria. Members are welcome to suggest other events throughout the semester to make the club a more engaging place that will make students more involved. One of my goals for the year is to try and make the club reach out to different communities through tailored events or more public outreach to get the general community more excited about science. This club is full of likeminded people that are happy to help with curriculars or future planning. Again, I am so excited to be this year’s president and I can’t wait to see you all around.
