Lincoln is a small city with a population base of about 250,000. Housing and living costs are inexpensive in comparison to the East or West coasts. Lincoln is an easy place to live, with little crime, few traffic jams, and short commutes to the University. Yet Lincoln has all the amenities of a city, with a large number of excellentdining and entertainment opportunities. Lincoln has over 100 individual parks, including a new extensive park and waterway, The Antelope Valley Project, which runs just next to the Beadle Center on the east side.
